Get Married on the Central Coast

Historic St Mary's...

is by far the most popular of our churches. It was originally built in 1858 in East Gosford, and in 1905 was moved stone by stone to Gosford.

St Mary's is a heritage listed building and has been restored to its former beauty; it is once again a stunning, sacred place. However, some modern conveniences and creative touches have been included in the refurbishment and include; air-conditioning, new traditional and contemporary stained glass windows, new chairs and plush red carpet. The interior contains a simple altar table, candles, and elegant, contemporary flower arrangements. St Mary’s can seat up to 90 guests comfortably.

St Mary's also has space on the lawns at the front of the Church for marquees. This would allow you to offer guests cocktails and canapés following your wedding service, which can be a way of utilising the time between the ceremony and start of your reception. It is a lovely space with views through large Morton Bay Fig trees to Brisbane Waters. This would, of course, be dependent on other services set down for the day.
